What is Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)?

Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) is one of the treatment options available through NHS Talking Therapies.

This evidence-based therapy that focuses on understanding how depression and a person’s relationships affect one another. IPT focuses on reducing feelings of depression and improving relationships with others across one of four areas. These areas include conflict with others, life changes, relationship patters, or bereavements.
